Water Filtration Heroes started with one simple vision, to make a real difference in the health and wellness of people throughout the world by providing access to cleaner water through Eco-friendly products and exceptional customer service.

Men's Sana in corpore Sano, the Latin phrase, meaning "a healthy mind in a healthy body", only a healthy mind can lead to a healthy body or equally, only a healthy body can produce or sustain a healthy mind.

We are in the midst of a global health epidemic, both mental and physical.

It is estimated that 970 million people worldwide have a mental health-related disorder (Dattani, 2018). Impaired mental health leads to impaired decision-making capabilities which result in poor lifestyle choices.

An extensive study carried out over 27 years from 1990 to 2017 estimated that a staggering one in five deaths globally, equivalent to 11 million deaths are associated with poor diet, and diet contributes to a range of chronic diseases in people around the world (The Lancet, 2019).

An unhealthy diet is one of the leading causes of the development of chronic diseases. According to the World Health Organization “By 2030, the proportion of total global deaths due to chronic diseases is expected to increase to 70 per cent and the global burden of disease to 56 per cent” (Al-Maskari, n.d.).

Water is vital for all known forms of life. The human body consists of between 55% to 78% water. To function properly, the body requires between one and seven litres of water per day to avoid dehydration. The purity of our drinking water is therefore of paramount importance.

People need access to a clean water supply, free from contaminants, and chemicals, one which does not pose a health risk, unfortunately, many people do not have access to such.
